GoStudent Builders, 75% of a company and no salary

A Vienna unicorn is offering founders 75% of a company. There is no salary, and from year three it can buy the majority.

GoStudent, the tutoring company led by Felix Ohswald and Gregor Müller, has opened GoStudent Builders. Its pitch: it has 14 problems that make money and not enough people to build them. You pick one, or bring your own idea, and run it as your own company.

The split is 75% for you and 25% for GoStudent. You live from what your company earns. GoStudent also takes a fee on revenue that runs through its customers, locations and sales team.

What you plug into, by its own count: more than 200,000 customers, more than 850 locations including Studienkreis, Lernquadrat and Berlitz, BAMF approval and companies in five countries. You don't raise money.

The problems are specific. Exam prep for external Abitur and Matura candidates. Public education tenders in Austria. Holiday camps. An AI agent for lead follow-up. The first centres in Poland.

Now the fine print. From year three, GoStudent can take a majority at a fixed EBITDA multiple agreed before you start, paid in its own shares, not cash. Goals are set every 90 days. A company that keeps missing them loses access to the customers and locations.

So the first customers come free, but if that option is used, the buyer and the pricing formula were settled on day one.

It wants AI-native builders, alone or in teams of up to three, full-time on site in Vienna. You apply by email: five lines and one project you built. The first round closes on 15 December, decisions come before Christmas, and teams start in January 2027.
