Six Swiss startups, three programs, one week

Six Swiss startups got backing from three programs in the last week of October.

  • CHD, Epalinges: CHF 150,000 from Venture Kick for MONI2 by CHD, remote monitoring of high-risk pregnancies. A consumer version is planned for early 2028.
  • Biodelphis Therapeutics, Lausanne: a CHF 100,000 Tech Seed loan from FIT - Fondation pour l'Innovation et la Technologie for a targeted osteoporosis treatment. An EPFL spin-off.
  • PolaSight, Pully: a CHF 100,000 loan from FIT - Fondation pour l'Innovation et la Technologie to prepare the market launch of a scanner that helps pathologists analyse tissue taken during cancer surgery. Built on a licence from Universität Bern and still for research use only.
  • Swiss Soil: a CHF 100,000 loan from FIT - Fondation pour l'Innovation et la Technologie for field trials of its vineyard management system.
  • Trilliome, Zurich: a CHF 10,000 Gold award at MassChallenge Switzerland for plant-derived ingredients aimed at the gut-brain network.
  • Flycatcher, Lugano: the second CHF 10,000 Gold award from MassChallenge Switzerland, for AI that learns what normal looks like for containers, trucks and trains.

Two of the three programs take no equity at all. FIT - Fondation pour l'Innovation et la Technologie lends, and MassChallenge Switzerland calls itself a zero-equity accelerator. MONI2 by CHD describes its Venture Kick money as part of the first tranche of its seed raise.
